About Us

The mission of the BAC shall be to unify the community by promoting collaboration between the Black, African and Caribbean organizations on campus, build moral to support each other’s events, have an accessible environment to share concerns within the community that can be advocated upon, and provide support to the general members and organizations that comprise of the BAC.

Members Benefits

Membership in the Black African Coalition (BAC) is open to all students enrolled in at least three credit hours at Arizona State University who support the mission and objectives of the coalition. This includes individual students as well as registered Black, African and Caribbean student organizations. Members gain access to leadership development opportunities, community engagement events, and inclusive programming designed to uplift and unite the Black student population at ASU. Additionally, members are eligible to vote in General Body Meetings, contribute to coalition-wide decisions, and participate in events that celebrate identity, culture, and collective progress.
