Diversity: Bringing students and faculty from a multitude of backgrounds together to network and create a sense of community within the university.
Equality: Enhance the learning experiences and opportunities so that students can achieve academic and professional goals through monthly guest lectures.
Equity: Honor and recognize the individualities of each student and graduate program within Edson College of Nursing.
Inclusion: Be a platform so that students from all graduate specialties can have a voice on matters in healthcare and health policy and become innovative leaders of change.
Community: Educate and engage in acts of service to provide opportunities for equal and equitable access to health care to underserved and marginalized communities.

Membership Benefits
Being a part of the Graduate Nurses Organization (GNO) at ASU offers numerous benefits, including opportunities for leadership, mentorship, and professional development through active roles on the Executive Board and Board Council. Members gain academic and career support through monthly guest lectures, involvement in healthcare policy discussions, and access to a diverse and inclusive community that values equity and advocacy. The organization fosters meaningful engagement through community service, university committee representation, and networking across nursing specialties. With low annual dues, members also benefit from structured mentorship, recognition with graduation cords, and experience in fundraising and event planning.
