About Us
The Liminal Society for Critical Reading at ASU is an undergraduate led community dedicated to engaging with challenging ideas and diverse perspectives through collaborative reading, discussion, and scholarship. We bring together students from all disciplines to examine themes of lived experience, marginality, transformation, and theory, building connections between academic thought and the complexities of real-world contexts. We support student expression through Praxis, our affiliated undergraduate journal, which amplifies emerging voices and highlights research that bridges the human and the academic. Through inclusive, respectful dialogue and interdisciplinary collaboration, we aim to equip our members with the critical literacy, empathy, and communication skills necessary to thrive in both scholarly and civic life.
