The Unit for Data Science and Analytics at ASU Library is excited to announce our Volunteer Open Projects.

This semester, students can choose from two in-person, real-world projects designed to foster collaboration, learning and the expansion of data science and analytics skills — regardless of discipline or experience level.

A 60-minute in-person kickoff session is open to all current ASU students. Students from all majors and academic levels are welcome to participate and grow their knowledge through hands-on collaboration. Registration is required.

Project 1: Narratives of Immigration in America: Studying Public and Political Discourse Through the Lens of Natural Language Processing

Project 2: Inference Without Reference: AI and Academic Knowledge in US Higher Education
