Boss Up is an empowering and dynamic organization, driven by women of color, dedicated to supporting predominantly minority students with comprehensive career preparation while fostering academic, professional, and social growth. Our ultimate vision is to uplift each member to embrace their inner "boss," taking bold strides toward achieving their dreams and aspirations.
Professional Development: Members gain access to workshops, guest speakers, and panels focused on career readiness, resume building, personal branding, and leadership skills. Networking Opportunities: Connect with like-minded femme students and professionals across various industries, creating a supportive network that extends beyond college. Leadership Experience: Members have the opportunity to join committees or run for executive board positions, developing real-world leadership and teamwork skills. Community & Sisterhood: Be part of an empowering and inclusive space that fosters confidence, mutual support, and meaningful connections among femme-identifying individuals. Social Events: Enjoy fun, bonding-focused activities such as game nights, self-care days, and themed mixers that balance work and wellness. Advocacy & Representation: Help amplify the voices and experiences of femme students on campus through programming, partnerships, and intentional outreach.
