Website Mission Membership Benefits

Mission
The purpose of this organization shall be to serve and represent students and community in
terms relating to technology, software, computing, electronic communication, and their out-of-classroom learning. We foster collaboration and community between software developers of varying skill, experience, and specialization by providing a forum for the dissemination of relevant information and to thereby assist students and attendees with their software development goals. We will supplement the curriculum by discussing any and all topics related to Computer Science, Software, Web development, programming, security, new and innovative technologies, and relevant mathematics. We will promote open standards on and off campus, as well as the free choice of software for university-related purposes, such as the fulfilling of class requirements and methods of communication.

Membership Benefits
Members benefit from access to workshops, hackathons, and tech talks, allowing them to network with industry professionals and peers while gaining hands-on experience with emerging technologies. They can collaborate on projects to enhance their skills and portfolios, receive support for their software development goals, and explore open-source and industry-standard tools.
