About Us

Purpose, vision, and mission: The Forge virtually unites ASU students and Barrett, The Honors College students across all campuses to Forge bonds and experience the traditional university community in a non-traditional setting. The Forge’s mission is to support students’ academic success by increasing awareness of resources and opportunities at ASU and Barrett, while also fostering a strong sense of community through virtual connection and shared experiences.

Members Benefits

Membership in The Forge at Barrett is open to all students who are enrolled in at least three (3) semester hours of university credit at ASU. Though this virtual organization is affiliated with and mainly serves the Barrett community, The Forge encourages all ASU students to join regardless of Barrett status. The Forge community must maintain positive interactions supporting current and future honors students' needs. Membership benefits include improving social, academic, and professional qualities by strengthening networking, teamwork, and leadership skills.
