About Us

The purpose of this organization shall be to cultivate a community of students dedicated to investigative journalism, fostering skills in in-depth reporting, accountability journalism, and data-driven storytelling. Our goals are to expose students to the principles and practices of investigative reporting, connect them with professional journalists in the field, provide hands-on learning opportunities, and promote ethical, impactful journalism that holds power to account. Through mentorship, workshops, and collaborations with the national Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE) organization, we aim to equip future investigative journalists with the tools and network necessary to excel in the industry.
