Technical Workshop:
LeetCode to Production

We are excited to be hosting our first Technical Workshop of the semester Tuesday, September 2nd! In this session, we’ll show you how to take a LeetCode problem and turn it into a cloud-deployed microservice.
Whether you’re just starting out or already experienced, this workshop is designed to be approachable and helpful for beginners while still offering depth for advanced participants. You will leave with hands-on knowledge of building and deploying microservices, understanding how algorithms translate into real-world applications, and practical skills you can apply to personal projects, coding interviews, and future coursework! RSVP on Sun Devil Central and join us!
GBM #1 Recap

Thank you to all who could attend our first General Body Meeting this week! We were happy to share with you our club's history and everything we have prepared for this semester. We appreciated having other associations like Hacker Devils, Women in Computer Science, The AI Society, and the Association for Computing Machinery present the opportunities they offer as well! From interview panels and technical workshops to our special events like the all-day bootcamp on September 20th, the Code Challenge XII with Hacker Devils this Spring, and the Women in Tech Conference with WiCS, we hope you’re as excited as we are to get involved! Additionally, the ASU CS Wiki and our upcoming Mentorship Program are ready for you all to check out and enjoy!
Applications Open for Mentorship Program

SoDA's Mentorship Program has opened applications! This initiative provides valuable guidance toward mentees and professional experience for mentors, as they learn more about coding and work together to create projects! Take a look at previous mentorship projects that have been selected to present their success at our Alumni Banquet, such as LIF and asuranked. See the details and apply now:

SoDA Goes to MLH Hackcon 2025

Last weekend, SoDA had the incredible opportunity to attend MLH Hackcon 2025, thanks to generous funding from ASU’s School of Computing and Augmented Intelligence (SCAI). Our officers came away inspired after a weekend of community building, insightful workshops, and connecting with hackers worldwide. We'll be carrying that same energy forward and are glad to share our experiences, so don't hesitate to reach out!
We look forward to seeing all the ways you’ll get involved in SoDA and make this semester a great one! See you at GBM #2!
