AWiP’s mission is to support women and gender minorities who study physics or a related field by providing a space for them to connect with others like themselves. In the process, we work towards making the physics community more inclusive for all.
As a member of the Association of Women in Physics, you gain access to a supportive group of women via social events, professor talks, professional development workshops, and more. Members also have opportunities to participate in educational outreach, go to a national physics conference for women and gender minorities, and attend AWiP’s co-hosted Space Gala in the spring!
