Devils in the Bedroom

Devils in the Bedroom is a student organization at Arizona State University dedicated to providing inclusive and comprehensive Sexual Health & Wellness Education to our community. We firmly believe that all individuals are entitled to stigma-free education and resources. To fulfill our mission, we offer free sexual health products and resources, organize events and meetings on campus, collaborate with various groups within and outside of ASU, and extend our support and knowledge to those in need. Community is the cornerstone of our efforts. Our Eboard members are passionate, knowledgeable, and empathetic individuals committed to serving the ASU community. It is important to note that we all students and volunteers, and we do not receive compensation for our work. While we strive to provide valuable information and support, we are not professionals or experts in the field.

Stigma-Free

Stigma-free refers to a culture and space where all individuals feel respected, supported, and safe to talk about their sexual health, experiences, and identities. It means challenging stereotypes, normalizing conversations about sex and relationships, and ensuring that everyone—regardless of gender, sexuality, or background—can access sexual health resources without embarrassment or fear of being judged.

Harm-Reduction Approach

A harm reduction approach focuses on minimizing the negative consequences of sexual behaviors rather than insisting on perfect or “risk-free” choices. It meets students where they are, acknowledges that people make diverse choices, and provides tools, resources, and support to keep them safe and healthy.

Comprehensive Sexual Education

Comprehensive Sex Education is an evidence-based approach to sexual health learning that provides students with accurate, age-appropriate, and inclusive information about sexual and reproductive health, relationships, consent, and well-being. Rather than focusing solely on abstinence or risk avoidance, CSE equips students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make informed decisions about their bodies, relationships, and sexual health.
