The mission of the organization is to support and promote weather enthusiasts through research, forecasting, broadcasting, and education. We will work to build community fellowship, professional development, knowledge sharing, and community resilience to weather impacts and events through a fun and engaging student organization.
We invite speakers from all over the country, schedule interesting presentations (tornadoes, anyone?), host social activites (including hikes, movie and game nights), and provide opportunities for networking (stormchasing!), internships, and more. We learn together and support each other through regular weather discussions, and then share our forecasts to help our community learn about weather and stay safe from weather hazards.
