Conception. Design. Construction. These are the core tenants of Chi Epsilon, The Civil Engineering Honor Society. The purpose of this organization shall be to provide the students of the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment at Arizona State University with a club focused on academic excellence, bonded by scholarship, character, practicality, and sociability.
Members shall have the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the civil engineering profession through chapter meetings, professional development events, technical workshops, industry presentations, and community engagement activities. Participation in these experiences is intended to strengthen members' technical, professional, and leadership skills while fostering meaningful connections with fellow students, faculty, alumni, and industry professionals. Members will also receive access to the chapter's official communication and professional networking platforms (e.g., Discord, LinkedIn, etc.) to encourage collaboration, mentorship, and continuous engagement. As funding permits, chapter shirts may be provided to members as a means of promoting chapter identity and unity. Distribution is anticipated to occur before the conclusion of each fall semester but may be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances.
