The mission of Alpha Pi Omega Sorority, Inc. is to create a strong sisterhood that will serve as a support for college and professional women in today's society. The sisterhood shall support its members in their individual journeys towards a balanced life. The Alpha Pi Omega woman will always strive for greater scholarship, honesty, leadership, service, and personal integrity. The Sorority will work to preserve our Indigenous traditions, for through celebration and practice of our cultural and spiritual heritage, we become one with each other.

Events are held during the first week of September to celebrate the founding of APIO. If you are interested in the Sorority & want to meet the Sisters, please attend!

Orange T-shirt Day

The Sisters' philanthropy focuses on education for Native students and highlights the survivors of boarding schools. The Orange T-shirt Day Fundraiser raises funds to be donated to the organization that upholds the Sisters' philanthropy.

8th Annual Indigenous Women Rising Art Show

This is the APIO Iota Chapter's Key event that is held annually in November to invite Indigenous artists from the community & from the ASU student body. They are given space to display their art to attendees while the Sisters highlight artists' accomplishments & describe their art.

The Interest Form for the 2026-27 academic year will be shared online via social media for Indigenous female & two-spirit students to fill out if they are interested in joining the Iota Chapter.
