Serve as a predominately virtual Pre-PA club where students connect and share valuable resources. The Pre Physician Assistant Club at ASU Downtown is a medical club at ASU's Downtown Campus and will serve as a beneficial resource for students interested in the field of medicine, primarily those who are aspiring to become Physician Assistants. The members of the club will be notified of ways to get involved in medicine and informed of ways to make themselves stand out as applicants.
Membership in Pre-Physican Assistant Club at Downtown ASU is open to all students enrolled in at least three (3) semester hours of University credit at ASU and meeting the ABOR definition of student. New Non-discrimination statement: Membership and all privileges, including voting and officer positions, must be extended to all eligible students without regard to age, ethnicity, gender, disability, color, national origin, race, religion, sexual orientation, or veteran status. Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972, Section 106.14, makes an exception for social fraternities and sororities, in regard to gender, for membership criteria. Religious student organizations will not be denied registration solely because they limit membership or leadership positions to students who share the same religious beliefs. These groups, however, may not discriminate in membership or leadership on any other prohibited basis (i.e., age, ethnicity, gender, disability, color, national origin, race, sexual orientation, or veteran status).
